Our Epic Road Trip by Nancy Webster Kaya

For the past nine days we have traveled over 2,000 miles through seven states. From six-lane, 70mph highways to two-lane, 35mph back roads.   The focal point of the trip was to be part of the wedding ceremony of hubby’s great-niece, Ezgi, and reunite with his family from Turkiye. It was far more than we both could have imagined. For hubby, his family is everything and being with them brought back so many memories. For me, I feel more a part of the Kaya clan now than I ever have. I will forever treasure the time with Ezgi getting to know her, and to be with Yurduner (Ezgi’s mother) and understand how close we are connected, despite all of the differences in our backgrounds.   In addition to the wedding, the trip was planned to drive both Skyline Dive and the Blue Ridge Parkway, which for me fulfilled a 53-year dream and for hubby to experience a part of the country he has never seen.   What an amazing, beautiful country we have!   Of course it would be difficu...

The Israel/Palestine Conflict by Nancy Webster Kaya

My opinions on the Israeli/Palestine situation will not sit well with many and I have debated whether to share my thoughts as they go against the accepted narrative.   I cannot, in good conscience, take a stand for either side. There have been ongoing atrocities on both sides for many years.   However, since October 7, 2023, after the horrific Hamas attack on Israel, Israel's ground and air campaign in Gaza has killed more than 38,000 civilians, the majority elderly, women, children, and babies. Over half a million Palestinians face starvation. 2.3 million people have been driven from their homes. There virtually is no infrastructure left, no housing, hospitals, or schools. Israel refuses to allow humanitarian aid in.   How in anyone’s mind can this be justified?   Accusations of genocide were brought before the International Court of Justice in the Hague several months ago. In response the Court issued a statement that Israel’s occupation of the Wes...

Hindu Silk by Ergun Diler

The following audio article was written by Ergun Diler and translated by Behcet Kaya Hint kumaşı - Ergün Diler - Ahaber I have written about Kamala Harris’s White House ambitions a number of times in the past, even before there were signs of her actually moving in that direction.   A few days before the assassination attempt on Trump I wrote about the support coming from BlackRock, Larry Fink and UK’s Keir Starmer clearing the way for Kamala Harris to come to power.   We have to view all that is happening in the context of a wider frame of reference. The institutions that came after WWI and WWII now must be changed because of China. This includes the UN and the IMF, the world banking system. There are new dangers, new actors, new brains, and new fronts.   For America, it will continue to resist losing its hegemony. And, in every article I write about America, the last word is for the Deep State.   In America there are two vastly different schools...

Our Animal Friends and the Environment by Behcet Kaya

Our Animal Friends and the Environment by Behcet Kaya (This article was written on December 10, 2014, for a college paper) Just think about it. If all the other species on earth gradually disappeared due to our precarious treatment of them, man would be a very lonely creature. I would like to discuss two animals that, among others, affect the environment immensely. They are beavers and wolves. We must take extra care not to interfere with their habitats; otherwise, if we rupture their environment and take out even a few animals in the chain, it will ultimately come down to our own destruction. In the eighteenth century, beavers were abundantly plentiful on the North American continent. As white man’s numbers began increasing, beavers were hunted down for their fur. The beaver population almost came to extinction. What we later learned, as seen in a Canadian documentary, was how important beavers are to the environment. Beavers were re-introduced to an area where there was ...

Who Called for the Hit on President Trump? by Nancy Webster Kaya

To the current administration: We, the American People, are not stupid. We know what we witnessed on Saturday, July 13- a catastrophic failure of security surrounding President Trump. We do not trust your FBI and their supposed investigation. We do not trust Cheatle or Mayorkis. You cannot use the excuse, the Iranians were behind it. You cannot use the excuse, it was a 20-year-old ‘lone wolf.’ You cannot imply the Trump camp set it up for sympathy.   We believe someone in Washington DC set it up, coordinated it, and gave the order.   Here are the questions: -Who kept denying the Trump Team’s repeated requests for more security? -Who gave the order to divert Trump’s usual SS detail to cover jill biden in Pittsburgh? -Who made the decision to substitute a DEI appointed, predominantly female, undertrained SS team? -Who assisted the shooter to enter the property and directed him to that particular building? -Who placed the ladder against the building so the shooter could climb up ...

Evil Powers An Opinion by Behcet Kaya

I came to this the U.S. legally, by way of a visa and obtaining legal status to live, work, and educate myself. That was the intent. I believed that America provided the opportunity for any hard-working individual to achieve the so called ‘American Dream,’ and all that entails.   I worked 32 years of my life in the aerospace industry. Therefore, like other American men and women, I have achieved the life that I dreamed of as a young boy. I have earned my retirement. My ‘golden years.’   Now my critics may say to me that if I am so against America why am I still living here?   I live here because I’ve earned the right to live here. I have also earned the right to criticize my government.   I am not against America, but against the corrupt power of the government. I have watched and witnessed the stupidity of the Pentagon politicians’ mismanagement of American politics.   How many of you realize that within American government there is a...
