Turkiye, The Wild Card Member of NATO

In Turkic nations there is a popular saying, If the wolf separates from the pack it does so not because it needs to fill its hungry stomach, but it wants to tear its enemies apart and destroy them.

Now that saying goes well for Turkiye. Since 1976 Turkiye has not cooperated with everything having to do with NATO.

Why?

It is because in 1976, when NATO held its meeting in Istanbul, it secretly decided to divide Yugoslavia, a former Soviet Union ally. At the time of meeting Turkiye did not realize that NATO wanted to destroy Yugoslavia located in the middle of Europe.

During this time, the Cold War with the Soviet Union was at its height. In 1973 Turkish Prime Minister Bulent Ecevit warned NATO to stop its Gladiator program in Turkiye. Gladiator was a secret organization to destroy Turkiye from within. Bulent Ecevit threatened to close down the U.S. bases if the program did not stop its activities in Turkiye.

Then came the PKK. Formed in 1984, the Kurdistan Workers Party is a terrorist organization and a continuation of the ASALA. ASALA, which was an Armenian terrorist organization, was completely wiped out by the Turkish secret service (MIT) after ASALA assassinated 45 Turkish diplomats in numerous countries including Los Angeles, USA.

Acting as a continuation of ASALA, the PKK is supported by number of NATO countries including the U.S., Germany, Greece, Holland, and France (Sweden, yet to become a NATO member also supports the PKK). These countries are major financiers of the PKK in their countries.

The PKK’s main aim is to divide Turkiye by carrying out terrorism against Turkish people. Due to the fact that the PKK was formed and is supported by NATO nations, Turkiye is staying in NATO to protect itself from the U.S. and European nations.

One glaring example - In Norway, during a recent NATO drill, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s picture along with the picture of founder and first president Mustafa Kamal Ataturk was put on the targets.

How insulting was that?

Ah, yes. The Secretary General of NATO, Jens Stoltenberg, did offer his apologies. But We Turks didn’t accept his apology. We Turks just went along and forgot it on the surface. That is the reason Turkiye is staying in NATO until 2030, by which time Turkiye will be totally independent with its own defense weapons.

Turkiye also stays in NATO because it has veto power. It will not allow Southern Cyprus and Israel to join NATO.

When President Macron of France said, “NATO is brain dead,” he meant it. NATO has no real purpose to exist. NATO was formed against the Soviet Union’s Warsaw Pact. Now the Soviet Union no longer exists. Therefore, NATO does not have real reason to be.

Oh, and let’s not forget. The U.S. activated NATO’s Article 5 and went to Afghanistan. Really? The U.S. could have done that by itself. But it looked better and gave U.S. a good reason to go and destroy the Al Qaida terrorist organization.

Turkiye is second to the U.S. in power within NATO. Now think about Turkiye leaving NATO. Then there will be no NATO.

At present, the U.S. is supporting the YPG which is the brother of the PKK and trying to form a proxy nation in Syria. This will come handy in annexing The Greater Israeli Promised Land.

The U.S. is also openly training YPG members. It does so by taking control of the Syrian oil fields and the most fertile land of Syria, then selling the oil back to the Syrians. So, the Syrian government is buying its own oil from the PKK/YPG. The PKK/YPG, also illegally sells Syrian oil other international oil companies. With that money the U.S. finances the weapons sold to the PKK.

In reality, for the last 39 years Turkiye and the U.S., both NATO members, have been fighting proxy wars. The latest, the proxy war in Syria, started in 2011.

The strategy that Turkiye is currently following is two-fold - attack and destroy all PKK/YPG munition depots inside Syria and take out PKK/YPG leaders. As soon as the U.S. trains a new PKK/YPG leader, Turkiye takes him out by drones or otherwise. This strategy will continue until the Pentagon politicians finally realize this useless war has to stop.

Or the dreaded scenario would a direct war with Turkiye.

Currently it is still a wait and see situation.
