Burning of the Kuran in Sweden

Burning of the Kuran in Sweden

My personal view of burning the Kuran in Sweden has two important points:

First: Sweden allowed the burning of the Kuran because it claims that in Sweden there is freedom of expressing thoughts. Just the same as it is written in America’s First Amendment, which stipulates freedom of speech.

Digging a little deeper, there are factions in Sweden who are against Sweden joining NATO. Therefore people who are behind this provocation are thinking that by burning the Kuran, Turkiye is not going to allow Sweden to join NATO. With this stipulation we can start blaming other nations such as Russia and Greece who are behind this charade as well. But, Russia’s Putin made an excellent example by going to Dagistan, a province of Russia, and accepting the Kuran. This is an indication that the Russian Constitution does not allow its citizen to be disrespectful to other civilization thoughts and beliefs.

Second: This goes much deeper than just freedom of expression. We must consider the Crusades between Christians and Muslims. But this provocation goes far beyond just wars between Islam and Judeo-Christian thinking. Lets look at from the point of view of Swedish academic circles. They have freedom to provoke anything they want. But they forget to understand that the Swedish Constitution allows its citizens to ridicule, but not to out right attack another point of view such Islam. By outright refusing another point of view carries with it the intention of wiping out other thoughts and beliefs. That is outright declaring war on other thoughts. But Swedish rulers think they can get away with it by saying they have freedom of speech. So in other words, the Swedish government is allowing its citizens to attack other civilizations belief systems.

The faction in Sweden that allowed this provocation, deliberately did so in an effort to anger Turkiye. The Swedish government did change the constitution to outlaw terrorism, however the law was never implemented. What good is a law if it is not put into use? Not putting the law into use gives the Swedish government the right to proclaim that Turkiye is the wild card in NATO, thus putting the blame on Turkiye, rather than on themselves.

Conclusion: who is to blame?

Swedish authorities are directly allowing these factions to attack and belittle other civilizations’ beliefs, primarily Islam. They want this to be just against Turkiye, but it is not. It is against the entire Muslim world.

Do the Swedish authorities think that they made the entire islamic world the enemy of Sweden?

Does Sweden still think they are the most civilized of nations?
