Senator Rubio,

I have never sent you a letter of this kind and whoever uses my name to send you the letter is an imposter sir.

Let me educate you the Armenian ottoman relations.

During the time before WWI ottoman empire was coming to an end. Ottomans were fighting in seven fronts. One of the front was the Russian Tzar against Ottoman attacked Ottoman lands in Caussia and promised Armenians a country of their own. Due to withdraw of Russian armies, Armenians inherited all the weapons of Russian Army, It is just like the US leaving all that weaponry in Afghanistan and withdrawing. Armenians decimated Turkish Muslim villages in the eastern Turkey in the hope the to reduce the population of Ottoman nationals. So that in the eyes of the world Armenians looks they have the majority of the populations. They would attacked Ottoman armies from behind, they filled Russian weapons inside Armenian churches where the reside this is entire eastern Turkiye today. Still mass graves are found in Erzurum, Van Agri towns in the eastern Turkiye.

After the Russian pulled back 1915 Ottoman gathered the Armenians and sent them to todays Syria where they departed to US California and Southern France. During this displacement many Armenians died due to famine and deceases. The number of Armenians died around 800,000 thousands These are from the  archives of the Armenian churches in Turkiye. Muslim Turks,
Kurds even jews of ottoman nationals are slaughtered by Armenian Dshnaks And now Armenian Diaspora filling you sir their version of lies,

For years President Erdogan open the archives and asked Armenians lets have an historians do the research lets open all the archives Russia, England, France and US let them investigate and decide rather than an uneducated politicians in the history of WWI like yourself making false claims sir. Where is their and your source sir. Stop lying and learn the facts.

Dear Mr. Kaya,

Thank you for taking the time to express your thoughts regarding U.S. policy toward Armenia. Understanding your views helps me to better represent Florida in the U.S. Senate, and I appreciate the opportunity to respond.

Armenia is a country with a long and proud history of maintaining its distinct culture and traditions. Armenians have continued this history in the face of some of the worst atrocities of the 20th century: the Ottoman Empire’s inhumane genocide of Armenians and the decades-long nightmare of Soviet communism. With the support of the Armenian-American community, the United States has consistently called for those responsible for human rights abuses against Armenians to be held accountable. Since the end of the Cold War, the United States has supported Armenia to develop its own national institutions in a way that reflects its commitment to universal values of democracy and human rights.

For years, successive American officials have recognized the Armenian genocide. However, no sitting American president had made that recognition. I joined Senators Bob Menendez (D-NJ) and Ted Cruz (R-TX) in introducing resolutions and called on President Biden to officially recognize the Armenian genocide. After repeated advocacy from Congress, on April 24, 2022, the 107th anniversary of the first arrests of Armenian intellectuals in Constantinople, which marked the start of the genocide, President Biden recognized the genocide.

Today, even as the Republic of Armenia develops its national institutions, ethnic Armenians across the Caucuses are under threat. Violence in the Nagorno-Karabakh region is unacceptable and has destroyed many ethnic Armenian communities. U.S. security assistance should not be used to further perpetuate this violence. It is for these reasons that I joined Senator Menendez in filing two amendments to the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2022 (P.L. 117-81). The first amendment would require the full implementation of section 907 of the 1992 Freedom Support Act (P.L. 102-511), which prohibits U.S. security assistance to the authoritarian Aliyev regime in Azerbaijan. While this amendment was ultimately not adopted into the NDAA, Senator Menendez and I successfully added a second amendment that requires a report from the U.S. Department of State to determine whether or not parts produced by U.S. firms were used for Turkish drones supplied to the Azeri military, and whether the use of those parts violated U.S. law.  I will continue to ensure that the United States maintains its positive relations with the Armenian people.

It is an honor and a privilege to serve you as your United States Senator. As the Vice-Chairman of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence and a member of the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations, I will keep your thoughts in mind as I consider these issues and continue working to ensure America remains safe and prosperous.

Sincerely,

Marco Rubio
