Disney and the Indoctrination of our Children by Nancy Webster Kaya
I’ve just read an opinion piece on Disney and how we, as parents and grandparents, should feel guilty about what it has become.
I
don’t know about the feeling guilty part. I never noticed the subtle
changes over the years. But they must have been there. Maybe I was just
too busy trying to work 10 hour days and raise my daughter on my own the
very best I could. Yes, we’ve been to Disneyland and Disneyworld, but
it’s been over 40 years ago. In my mind the current state of Disney is
so far removed from how it was back then that there is no comparison.
Today the ‘woke’ agenda is being shoved in our faces and there is no
mistaking the intent.
I’m thankful my daughter
is grown and our grandsons are well adjusted and normal teenagers…all
due to the extraordinary parenting of daughter and son-in-law.
I
feel for the parents today with small children and the difficult
choices they must make to keep their children safe and unexposed to such
depravity and indoctrination. But it’s not just Disney. It’s in our
public schools, in the music the children listen to, the cartoons they
watch. It seems to be just about everywhere.
