I’ve just read an opinion piece on Disney and how we, as parents and grandparents, should feel guilty about what it has become. I don’t know about the feeling guilty part. I never noticed the subtle changes over the years. But they must have been there. Maybe I was just too busy trying to work 10 hour days and raise my daughter on my own the very best I could. Yes, we’ve been to Disneyland and Disneyworld, but it’s been over 40 years ago. In my mind the current state of Disney is so far removed from how it was back then that there is no comparison. I keep thinking about how much longer do we have to endure this bumbling old fool currently occupying the White House? But then I remember and I finally have accepted the fact that it really doesn’t matter who we voted for in 2020. None of our votes counted.
